Accessibility
The military community includes people with disabilities — including many disabled veterans this site exists to serve. We want everyone to be able to find a home here, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work, not a checkbox.
Our commitment
We aim to make veteranpropertynetwork.com usable with screen readers, keyboard navigation, and other assistive technology, using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA as our guide. We say "guide" deliberately: the site has not yet been through a formal third-party accessibility audit, and we don't claim certified conformance. Some areas may still fall short, and we fix barriers as we find them or as you report them.
What's in place today
- Reduced motion respected. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site's animations — parallax, count-ups, scroll effects — are turned off.
- Labeled controls. Search fields and forms use visible labels, and icon-only buttons and links carry text alternatives for screen readers.
- Text alternatives on photos. Listing images include descriptive alt text.
- Readable structure. Pages use semantic headings and landmarks, high-contrast brand colors, and text that scales with your browser settings.
One honest limitation to know about: this site requires JavaScript — with it disabled, navigation and interactive features (search, maps, calculators) won't render.
